Editorial Policy

We write every line on this site ourselves, from what we state about each cup. Names on the cards are ours: a long search title is written for a search box, and a person choosing a mug does not read it.

If we do not state a figure for a piece, the line is blank. We do not print an hour we did not claim, a cup-holder fit we did not try, or a certificate we do not hold.

Where health or food safety comes into it, we read the public guidance with our own browser, quote it word for word, and print the date we read it next to the link.
